"No Waste, No Trace"

To explore my curiosity of Bamboo and pursue my passion for Design, I managed a self-build project with a team of friends. We aimed to construct a lightweight parametric pavilion out of locally-sourced natural materials that leave no trace at the end of its design life. By incorporating computational aids like Karamba for FEA, and taking advantage of bamboo's material properties, we optimised its form and minimised material usage to create free-flowing curves that defy the conventional. This pavilion offers a relaxing route around the pond as well as a spot to sit and ponder.
